Some thoughts about Wonder Woman #63

Wonder Woman doesn't only protect humans.

A group of mythological creatures are trying to find a normal life among the rest of the world but it will be as difficult as expected.

Well, this actually was better than the last few issues.

G. Willow Wilson delivers what basically is an one-and-done story and is much more successful than previous dull arc. For one, the group of creatures that are introduced here have tons of personality and they all contrast perfectly with one another. This of course, leads to many crazy and fun misadventures where all of them try to fit with humans although I must say that is pretty surprising the people were not more surprised about seeing such bizarre beings.

But that's the thing, this is a fun story but doesn't even involve Wonder Woman. I mean she appears very little and is not like this is a problem per se but considering how Wilson didn't write a particularly good story with Diana last time, this doesn't make the idea of her writing the title much more appealing.

Emanuella Lupacchino handles the art and is gorgeous as expected with beautiful characters and clear storytelling.

Good issue, just not a good Wonder Woman issue.
