Some thoughts about The Terrifics #13

The Terrifics need to stay together once again.

Michael has found that his wife is alive in another universe and now they will need to face the Dreadfuls but not without the full team.

Another issue, another fast yet entertaining read.

Jeff Lemire offers a new installment where he delivers everything he has been building-up so far. The team dynamics continue to be great, particularly now that two new members have joined the group, Plastic Man's son (Offspring) and Element Dog, and they both bring their own interesting personalities to the story.

The most important character moments belong to Mister Terrific though since it showcases the long-awaited encounter with his wife and shows a compelling conversation despite that they're not exactly the same as in their own universes. All this character work comes at the cost of the content as usual since is a pretty light in terms of plot but everything else is so good that it compensates for it.

Joe Bennett handles the art and is really solid as expected thanks to his expressive characters and strong storytelling.

Good chapter, hope the conclusion is satisfying.
