Some thoughts about Green Arrow #35

Can Green Arrow save his city?

Ollie and his mother are trying to find the resources to defeat the Ninth Circle but their enemies continue to work against them.

Yes, this Ninth Circle stuff continues and you should resign to that.

Ben Percy continues his story by exploring some concepts that, to be honest, feel pretty out of place in Green Arrow's universe. Yes, I know that we have seen things like monstrous and impossibly evil business men that somehow have organizations in FRIKKING SPACE but dealing with underwater technology that is somehow connected to them kinda pushes it. Then again, is not the first time that GA deals with silly stuff but I wish things were a bit more grounded.

The pacing is once again pretty erratic due to the multiple segments that are poorly implemented into the story, not to mention that most of the things that happen in this issue are fairly unimportant due that is mostly a set-up for things that are about to come. Oh, and characters get introduced and killed quite quickly which makes me wonder about their point.

Juan Ferreyra handles the artwork and once again, his style is not particularly beautiful but he knows how to tell the story creatively.

Other than that, unremarkable overall.
