Some thoughts about Trinity #16

The end is ending in the worst way possible.

Batman has made a deal with Deadshot and now both Superman and Wonder Woman will have to help them stop a terrorist attack.

Colour me surprised.

Rob Williams offers a new little story that works much better than his usual stuff. I have a few issues about the fact that Batman is working alongside Deadshot (even considering his reasons) but still the characterization works pretty well for the most part. The relationship between the Trinity is depicted solidly by emphasizing how strong their connection is and how much they understand each other.

The biggest surprise here is Deadshot though since, while he's not depicted as his classic psychopathic self, some of his other traits like his unability to be a good father and how much that clash with his relationship with his daughter are nicely depicted.

V. Ken Marion remains in art duties and his work is still quite appealing thanks to his strong action scenes and detailed characters.

Finally a good story. Wonder if this is a sign.
