Some thoughts about Justice League of America: Killer Frost Rebirth #1

Is Killer Frost truly a villain?

Caitlin Snow believes in the possibility of redemption but Amanda Waller knows better although in this case she might be wrong.

The one-shots continue and this proves to be yet another entertaining one.

Steve Orlando is once again accompanied by Jody Houser to bring the story of Killer Frost and her fight to demonstrate she's not really a killer. This story is perfectly connected to her first appearance during Forever Evil, about how she needs to absorve other people's heat to survive which allows for a pretty interesting character work where she demonstrates that her will is stronger than her hunger.

The writers also use this issue to play with a few other villains to provide more development for the protagonist all of which brings an interesting twist at the end that creates a lot of promise for the character.

Mirka Andolfo handles the artwork and is beautiful with a semi-cartoony style and precise storytelling that gets the best from every scene.

Great stuff. Going to miss all these individual stories, which we could get more of them.
