Who are the Constructicons?
Scrapper and his team always thought they could handle anything but once that the Enigma of Combination is presented to them, they will quickly realize that there's still a lot to learn about this world.
A new series set in the new continuity arrives and is focused on none other than the Constructicons, I'm not really a big fan of this team but I'm glad that previously ignored characters are getting the spotlight this time although I must say that I didn't find this a particularly engaging beginning.
Tyler Bleszinski delivers a chapter where he introduces the Constructicons in a pretty clear way. The characterization is decent at least since each one of them have their own unique personalities, they're not particularly different from each other or unique for that matter but at least they distinguishable enough. Their premise is actually more interesting since the idea of the Constructicons actually having a work about, well, constructing is something that hasn't been really explored ironically enough and it gives them a compelling direction.
The plot itself is not that impressive, is mostly centered around the idea of them combining which is something that we all saw coming but I wish this would have escalated in a more intense way, giving us more time to know the characters and then deliver the whole Enigma of Combination. Still, the story is serviceable.
Livio Ramondelli handles the art and is decent with his classic unique style that at times is hard to notice but it provides a distinctive tone.
This is okay, not bad, not great, hope it gets better though.
