Not even Superman can face Leviathan.
After a failed attempt of confronting the organization, Clark is trying to recover along with the rest of his allies and they're not getting closer at learning who is really behind the mask.
Not much plot progression but there's still a few things to enjoy here.
Brian Bendis offers a new installment which is mostly dedicated to character interaction. I must say that I tend to enjoy how the whole cast plays with one another, especially characters like Manhunter and Green Arrow, yes, Bendis still doesn't quite get Ollie's character for me but still the dynamic that he contributes with the rest of heroes is decently done. Plus, Bendis is promising to include even more obscure characters into the mix which is something that I can appreciate.
The story is not getting closer to any revelation though although there are a few hints about where things are actually going while some of the big moments are solidly handled and the escalation is adequate.
Alex Maleev remains in art duties and he's still perfect for the the grim and gritty tone of the title.
Solid read, hope the next one offers an actual reveal though.
