Is Green Lantern truly dead?
Jessica was apparently murdered by Darkseid's Omega Beams but there's more than everyone imagined behind such act.
This mostly serves as a set-up and I'm still not sure how to feel about it.
First of all, the cliffhanger that Dan Abnett created during the last issue was quickly resolved in this one, I'm talking of course about Jessica's "death". The reasons behind her return are explained right away and I'm not really sure about the logic behind that but then again, none of these events are logical in the slightlest but at the same time, I wish they would have waited for a bit more to create the illusion that she was actually gone, not that I want her truly gone obviously but this pretty much kills all the suspense.
There are a few characters added into the mix and it's cool to see Dex-Starr once again and referencing her history with Jessica but this is mostly an issue where things are explained and it's preparing everyone for the final fight against Darkseid which doesn't offer much plot.
Will Conrad handles the art and is pretty good looking with a vibrant style and polished finish.
Not bad, not great, hope the next one is better.
