The Terrifics have met their match.
Bizarro has gathered his own team called The Terribles and now they're willing to face their counterparts to find the person Bizarro is truly looking for.
This was actually a nice improvement.
I have been complaining for a while about how Gene Luen Yang's run has been dull for the most part but in this chapter he actually hit a nice balance. The first half is decent enough since is about the battle between The Terrifics and The Terribles which is serviceable handled as far as action scenes go but the whole "Bizarro talk" can get pretty tiresome.
The best part comes during the second half due that the result of this fight transports the team to the 90s and lots of references occur like how their costumes start having shoulder pads and pouches, how everything was overall more durable during that decade and this brings a sense of nostalgia in a literal and dangerous way for most of them. The cliffhanger is also interesting enough.
Stephen Segovia and Brent Peeples share the pencils and both do a solid job during their respective sections with Segovia being the best.
Decent read overall, hope things get better from now on.
