How will be the new life of Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy?
Ivy is getting used to her new body after the events in Sanctuary and Harley will have to help her in the best way she can but that's far from their only problem once that another creature connected to The Green appears.
A new miniseries focusing on this iconic couple is here. As I've mentioned before, a story centered around these two is pretty much the only positive thing that could came out from Heroes in Crisis and I think is executed appropriately as a whole.
Jody Houser delivers an opening chapter focusing on the ramifications of the crossover with a new revived Ivy trying to gain control of her new body and powers. This is nicely reflected on the relationship between Harley and her due that Harley is now forced to deal with her unstable girlfriend while also handling her own personal problems like the fact that she's no longer a supervillan and instead just trying to live a normal life.
There's not much of a plot per se but there are a few references during the course of the issue about what's happening in the rest of the DCU like the events of Year of the Villain and all of this leads to an encounter with yet another Avatar of The Green although it makes me wonder how this could happen since I believe he died in an issue of Justice League Dark.
Adriana Melo handles the art and is pretty solid with a clean style and good looking characters.
Decent chapter, hope the next one offers more plot progression though.
