How can The Black Flash be stopped?
A Force is dying and now Barry doesn't know what to do and things are going to get worse once that The Rogues and Hunter Zolomon return.
This issue compensated for the lack of progress of the last few.
Joshua Williamson offers a new installment where he throws many ideas he left hanging. The main plot progresses nicely with an explanation of the actions of The Black Flash being investigated and gives a new purpose to his murders which is nicely connected to Barry's recent struggles with the Speed Force. However, we also see the welcoming rise of The Rogues in an interesting way along with the return of Zoom who wants to become the only true Flash.
This comes with a sense of overcompensation though since it seems like Williamson is packing too much stuff here for its own good. The Rogues is something that I can understand since their return has been developed for a while but Zoom pretty much appears out of nowhere and for that reason his inclusion in the story feels a little pointless so far.
Rafa Sandoval returns to art duties and his work is pretty appropriate with a flexible style that captures the speed scenes perfectly.
Decent overall, hope the next one explains more things.
