Some thoughts about Red Hood: Outlaw #38

Are the Outlaws doomed?

Jason is taking his students into a new mission to make them learn how to use their powers but it also could be their last one once that monsters appear.

Another issue, another satisfying read.

Scott Lobdell delivers a new installment where he explores more about this new status quo. The character dynamics are pretty solid because the writer gives each new member of the cast an interesting personality that is nicely mixed with their respective set of powers and just like I mentioned in the last chapter, it seems like Lobdell is really reminiscing his Generation X days, especially once that Jason call his team "Generation Outlaw".

The plot progresses at a fast pace thanks to the inclusion of other characters like Bizarro and Artemis whose story continues to move forward and we're reintroduced to a particular Lobdell character that I never thought I would see again, Doomed. It seems like Lobdell really wants to put all of his creations in this book.

Keneth Rocafort handles the art and his work is still perfect here thanks to his creative layouts and energetic style.

Great read, hope the next one is just as good.
