Yep, everything is coming together all right.
Warren Ellis offers one of the most content-packed issues in a while, there are several different segments being developed here. The introduction of Helspont is really interesting and makes one wonder what will happen to make him turn into the classic supervillain. The fight between Lynch and Slayton is equally entertaining and sets-up the next stage for these characters. At the same time, Ellis offers a few compelling references to classic Wildstorm concepts and teams including the always favorites The Authority and Wild C.A.T.S.
That's the thing that separates this issue from the last few ones, things are actually moving here. The multiples stories are finally showing a logical progress and what their ultimate resolution could be and this creates a pretty satisfying read as a whole.
Jon-Davis Hunt's artwork is fantastic as usual with the perfect storytelling to elevate the script even more.
