Has Deathstroke lost his mind?
Slade is enduring his time in Arkham in the best way he can but he suddenly will realize that people inside of the asylum are trying to destroy him.
Another satisfactory chapter right here.
Christopher Priest offers a new installment where he continues the usual strong character work. The development starts right away with one of the doctors from the asylum trying to have a conversation with Slade and figure out what actually happens in his mind and the reasons why he commits his most terrible actions. As usual with Priest's work, everything is connected in a way that makes sense and shows another angle of the protagonist that depicts him in a much more complex manner.
There are other characters getting the spotlight as well. For example, Rose and Joey remain as relevant part of the story being either for their roles in the plot or serving as a parallel for Deathstroke. Even Batman's villains make an interesting appearance due that they receive really unique portrayals and one of them gets especially important towards the end.
Fernando Pasarin's artwork is fantastic with a great skill at depicting character expressions and storytelling.
Great read, hope the next one arrives soon.
