The threat is getting worse and worse.
The United States are currently suffering a mysterious and brutal terrorist attack and things are going to get more dangerous once that it gets personal.
This story continues and is still rather satisfying.
Brian Bendis offers a new installment where he explores more about this world work. Unlike the two previous issues, this chapter doesn't focus on the protagonist we have seen all this time and instead the story is centered around Valentine and what he has to endure at being part of this terrible business and family. It pretty much follows the same theme about violence and how people involved in this line of work can't have a peaceful life, not to mention that it gives us a bigger insight about Valentine's character and how he's connected to the bigger heads.
Once again, the plot doesn't progress that much but it does offer more content than the previous one by delivering appropriate worldbuilding and sets-up key pieces for the future.
Michael Avon Oeming's artwork remains one of the strongest aspects of the book due that, despite of his cartoony style, he's not afraid of delivering gory scenarios that push the story even further.
Good read, can't wait to see more of this universe.
