Some thoughts about Patsy Walker A.K.A. Hellcat #14

The catfight is over.

Patsy's best friend has been captured by Black Cat and now they will be forced to fight the whole gang to save everyone.

I'm tired of this to be honest.

I've been a fan of this book since the beginning but this arc pretty much killed it for me. It was chapter after chapter of basically the same and boring things happening. Hellcat and Black Cat fighting which is not even a proper fight since it ends quicker than one would have expected considering the amount of time Leth spent on it. There was so much potential to make this encounter fun but sadly, it wasn't properly exploited.

And is not like there are no good things since the way how Leth handles the nature of an abusive relationship that also has a healthy dose of homophobia was solidly handled but is not enough to save a dull story.

Brittney L. Williams remains in art duties and yeah, her art has gotten worse with less refined character models and scenarios.

Dropping this sadly, can't invest more time on it.
