Kenan is not sure what to do after losing his dad but what he knows is that he needs to start looking for help to find the people culprit of the death of his family.
Well, this was yet another solid entry thankfully.
Gene Luen Yang continues his story and if there's something that I've always appreciated about this book is the worldbuilding. The development of China continues along with the introductions of different settings and characters. It was pretty interesting to see new environments like the Academy of the Bat and the inclusion of I-Ching in the story is pretty logical considering his origins.
Plus, is nice that the plot is not only focused on Kenan but also in Batman and Wonder Woman. Both segments progress nicely and reveal more aspects of each character and their relationships with one another. The main story also continues its path at a good pace.
Billy Tan's artwork is decent and follows the script nicely with expressive characters and storytelling.
Liking where this is going so far. Better continue this way.
