Aquaman and Black Manta will have to fight to death once again.
Arthur has just discovered that Manta has been the leader of N.E.M.O. all this time and he will have to end this conflict once for all.
The conclusion of this long-running arc is finally here and really it follows the same trend we have seen since the beginning.
Dan Abnett offers a new chapter where he brings closure to quite a few plot-points he created during the course of the run while also developing a few new ones. The fight between Arthur and Manta comes to its logical conclusion with the protagonist clearly stating how Manta doesn't change even when he's not targeting him which is pretty on-point considering his usual portrayals.
The way how the politic side of the story is handled is a bit dubious at times but it still brings resolution to this plot-thread while also showing how strong Arthur is as a character.
Philippe Briones returns to art duties and his work is really solid with a good for action scenes and expressive characters.
Consistent as usual my dear Aquaman. Not much else to say once again.
