Some thoughts about Batgirl #7

What happened to Burnside?

Barbara has returned home and she has found that everything is different now and things might get more complicated once that she realizes her new date is the Penguin's son.

This title is finally back and I must say that I'm enjoying it so far.

Hope Larson arrives with a new chapter where she focuses on reestablishing Burnside into Batgirl's title but with a little twist playing with the idea about how money has become the most dominant aspects in its people now. Is a pretty interesting theme and manages to be included into the story nicely.

The characterization is pretty solid with many of the old supporting cast returning and reconnecting with Barbara while her actions after meeting Penguin's son make a lot of sense and it was cool that Dick and her are in good terms.

Chris Wildgoose handles the artwork and is pretty reminiscent of the Burnside era with a pretty distinctive and cartoony style that creates great expressions.

Pretty solid, hope it continues this way.
