Some thoughts about Justice League 3001 #2

The menace of Starro is growing.

The Justice League is currently fighting against the army of possessed people that Starro is controlling and their only chance of victory might be the arrive of a recently awaken Supergirl.

Still entertaining as usual.

Keith Giffen and J.M. DeMatteis continue their story in the future by developing the world that exists in this timeline including a Starro that is more powerful and much different from the one we usually know. The introduction of Supergirl brings another strong personality to the table and definitely makes the interaction between the characters much more enjoyable.

Speaking of dynamic between the cast, the characters are hilarious. From The Flash's naivety to Guy's confusion about his current state to Supergirl's completely out of place, etc. The conversations between the protagonists remain the highlight of the story and they always bring a good laugh at the very least.

The story continues to progress satisfactorily too which is mostly focused on the Injustice League's plans and how they affect the team as a whole.

Howard Porter is still in charge of the art and his work is still beautifully complex with every character looking great and the environments being pretty detailed.

Excellent issue and I hope things continue this way.
