Some thoughts about Loki: Agent of Asgard #16

It's the final war between the Gods of Asgard and Loki to make everything change.

King Loki has started once again an invasion towards his own people and the only person who can stop him is himself but does he have what it takes to change destiny?

This was certainly a quite impressive read.

Al Ewing delivers yet another interesting chapter where he explores what makes the current Loki so different from his classic self and the writer presents a pretty interesting exploration and justification for his actions during all these years which actually present him in a more understandable way, not sympathetic, but understandable nonetheless.

The way how the protagonist handles this situation is pretty inventive and manages to finally separate himself from the original, I won't tell what happens but it's a really logical route.

And of course, the author is not afraid to inject some sense of humour like making the Gods of Asgard wear sunglasses to gain the power of "cool".

Lee Garbett continues in charge of the pencils and his work is still really beautiful with good looking characters and creative layouts. I especially love the design for female Loki.

Pretty good issue, definitely one of the best from Marvel this week.
