Some thoughts about Harley Quinn and Power Girl #2

Harley Quinn and Power Girl will need to face some of the strangest threats that they have ever encounter.

From killing robots to Vartox' team of ex-girlfriends, Harley and Kara will find surprise after surprise in this weird world and their problems are just beginning.

Okay, this was certainly an improvement over the previous issue.

The humour is still quite entertaining but this time Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner have exploited the premise of a completely new world (and possibly universe) to implement some of the silliest ideas they can find and they're extremely fitting for the kind of characters they're playing with.

Vartox's world is clearly one mostly centered about one thing and it's pretty obvious what such thing is considering the amount of sculptures about women and the team of ex-girlfriends (which funnily enough, also include a boyfriend) that reside on it. The jokes that are made about such situations are also hilarious.

Stephane Roux continues in charge of the pencils and his work is still pretty beautiful with expressive characters and able to make the humourous scenes even better.

Quite enjoyable chapter, definitely looking forward more of these adventures.
