Some thoughts about Secret Six #4

How did the Secret Six managed to go into this neighbourhood?

After escaping from their mysterious captors, Catman and the rest of the team will still have to fight for their lives against people who apparently have the same interests and a lot of common with them.

Well, this was certainly a pleasent surprise.

Gail Simone brings a new chapter of the story that takes place immediately before the events of the last one, this time focusing on how the team started to know each other better and how they arrived to Big Shot's home. The character work and story progression is solid so far.

However, the best part of this issue is definitely when the author starts writing characters she's pretty familiar with and are not strange to the history of this particular team. It was great to see them back and I'm glad they found a way to reintroduce them.

Ken Lashley is in charge of the opening scene while Tom Derenick handles the rest. The artwork is consistent thankfully and both pencillers are able to do a nice job in their respective sections.

Pretty entertaining issue for fans of this team but go check it out to see what I'm talking about.
