Some thoughts about Hawkman #15

How can Hawkman face the Shadow Thief?

Carter has asked The Shade to help him based on the former villain's abilities with shadows but not even his aid could be enough to stop the new powers of the Shadow Thief.

A new chapter arrives and is actually better than the opening issue of the arc.

Robert Venditti brings a new installment where he creates logical developments from this premise. The involvement of The Shade makes sense considering the abilities of the Shadow Thief and I must say that I like the fact that Carter and him seem to know each other for a long time which makes sense considering that both are Golden Age characters and are basically immortal. I also dig the voice that Venditti gives to The Shade which seems pretty fitting.

The story delivers much more content this time showing an interesting twist to the antagonist's powers and how they're connected to Richard's while creating an understandable reason why both Carter and him need to team-up and go to a familiar place for the Master of Darkness.

Pat Oliffe handles the art and is decent with clear storytelling and expressive characters.

Pretty good issue, hope things stay this way.
