Some thoughts about Batman & the Outsiders #4

Who is Ra's Al Ghul's new student?

Sofia is being brainwashed by Ra's meanwhile Bruce and Jefferson are trying to keep their team together for the upcoming threat.

Another chapter, another solid entry.

Bryan Hill delivers a new installment where he continues the character work that is so prominent in this book. Once again, the highlight is the interaction between the characters due that the writer creates a pretty interesting dynamic between all the members of the teams, particularly considering that most of it heavily includes Jefferson basically giving him the role of protagonist and voice of reason which, once again, is really appropriate for him. This also contrasts nicely to how Ra's handles his own people.

Speaking of which, the plot doesn't progress a lot but gives us a good insight of what's about to come, particularly Sofia's place in her new teacher's plans and how this will affect the Outsiders. There isn't a lot of action either but once again, the team dynamics makes the read engaging.

Dexter Soy remains in art duties and his work is still stunning thanks to his beautiful characters and precise storytelling.

Good issue, hope the next one offers more of everything.
