Some thoughts about The Green Lantern Season Two #11

What is Hal Jordan's final challenge?

The Ultrawar is far from over or at least that's what the Guardians of the Universe believe. Now Hal will have to face both new and old enemies to find out what's actually happening.

Penultimate chapter and, while far from bad, I didn't dig it as much as previous issues.

Grant Morrison is preparing the series for the end but losing a bit of what made previous chapters enjoyable. As I said before, the last installment was pretty much the conclusion that Morrison has been building-up to concerning all the romantic interests of Hal and his development as a person, mind you, the potential for further growth was also teased at the end but such is not progressing that much in this chapter.

Although this being a Morrison work, of course you're going to get your obscure references to a character's history and I especially like the appearance of Green Lantern villains from Earth like the Shark and Major Disaster while the issue has a pretty cool warrior-like theme. However, this is mostly a set-up for what's about to come and I'm not particularly excited about that villain being the final one.

Liam Sharp's art continues to impress with a really flexible style that delivers a different style almost in every page with a lot of depth.

Decent read, hope the conclusion is satisfying.
