Can Yara Flor save a loved one?
Yara and Caipora have arrived to the underworld and the perils of it won't stop Yara from rescuing her Amazon sister but her courage and good intentions might not be enough.
This little series has come to a conclusion and it certainly fulfilled the potential of this line.
Joelle Jones once again showcases how likable Yara is in every single page. Almost every scene where the protagonist appears is joy to watch being in terms of action segments of character moments, is also pretty interesting to see the different ways how she handles every scenario depending of the situation.
Things get clearer in terms of plot due that the person Yara was looking for, Potira, is revealed and their background is finally explored. I like how their dynamic is portrayed due that Jones doesn't fully explain if they are friends or something more (Because you know, Amazons) and leaves it open to interpretation. The way how the story deals with it as a theme for acceptance is also pretty compelling and creates good character work.
Jones' art remains amazing with a beautiful style, creative storytelling and tons of expression for the whole cast.
One of the best reads this week, hope Jones is involved in Yara's future.
