Can the Teen Titans avenge their friends?
Several members of the team have died over the years and Dick Grayson believes they can still defeat the culprits, he might be too optimistic though.
Yet another Future State tie-in that is a waste of time, figures.
Tim Sheridan "concludes" this story and I refer to it that way because he doesn't really conclude it at all. Following up from the last cliffhanger with Nightwing releasing Red X from his prison, all of them go to confront their corrupted former friends. The main problem here is that Sheridan clearly didn't have any idea of purpose for this miniseries aside from creating a poor connection and set-up for his upcoming Teen Titans Academy series.
This is pretty obvious because of how little it actually happens in this installment where the plot is basically just most of the cast getting either corrupted or killed, Red X's identity not being revealed because that has to be saved for the future and the story simply ending as quick as possible. The issue was so poorly handled that it reminds me a lot of the Future State: The Flash title and what a coincidence! Wally appears here as it was teased during that disaster and I don't even know why they bothered with it due to how insignificant his role is here and how his own story doesn't even end. Way too many similarities.
Rafa Sandoval's flexible style is good to look at at least.
Aside from that, just forget this exists. I don't have any expectations for Teen Titans Academy now.
