Some thoughts about Transformers #10

Who is the leader of the Rise?

Megatron has been trying to control this conflict but his plans are starting to get out of hand, especially if one of his allies starts making his own plans.

This issue delivered quite a few revelations.

Brian Ruckley offers a new installment where he progresses the plot even further. The fight between the different factions in Cybertron continues to escalate and this is particularly reflected in Megatron whose true intentions are finally shown which leads to the reintroduction of a classic Decepticon and it seems like his relationship with Megatron remains antagonistic as most of their appearances in comics. It also shows the political aspect of the story is more complex than anticipated too.

There are a few other sub-plots like the inevitable fate of the Ascenticons along with the arrival of some familiar figures in the Transformers fandom, some old, some new and a few pretty obscure. Hope they're well-portrayed.

Angel Hernandez, Anna Malkova and Beth McGuire-Smith share the pencils and they maintain a consistent style over the course of the read, not that polished but appropriate enough.

Solid chapter. Hope the next one shows even more progression.
