Deathstroke's children are getting worse.
Rose is trying to live up to her father's legacy while Joseph is willing to join people that not even Slade trusted and both of them will fall in their own ways.
Another chapter, another interesting read.
Christopher Priest offers a new installment where he continues the development of both Rose and Joseph. The struggles that Rose suffers for being the new Deathstroke are quite compelling and understandable, particularly because they're connected to the recent death of her father and her own childhood for being conceived outside of Slade's marriage. Is the classic character work that you can expect from Priest.
Even more compelling though, is how Joey is basically regressing as a person, this would usually mean a bad thing but this is actually a logical development from everything that happened to him. The offer that Lex Luthor gave him is making him remember his past and that will lead him to abuse his powers even with people he loves.
Fernando Pasaring handles the art and is solid with expressive characters and clear storytelling.
Good read, hope the next one is just as strong.
