Disasters are increasing.
Captain Atom has been infected and that means that the end of the world is coming at any second. Only Superman and Wonder Woman can try to stop it but even their combined forces might not be enough.
Getting more and more convinced that Tom Taylor was the right choice for this book.
Another chapter is released and the scale of this threat becomes even bigger. This is something that I have always appreciated about Taylor's work despite that I have complained about it in the past, at least he does know how to create huge moments that makes the story seem like a big event and what bigger moments you can have than Giganta becoming a zombie a destroying a whole city while an infected Captain Atom is threatening to blow up the entire planet? Is just entertaining blockbuster stuff.
There's also the little character moments like when the Superman family and Damian deals with the deaths of Pa Kent and Batman respectively or how the rest of the characters react to the disease that is attacking their friends. Solid portrayals overall.
Trevor Hairsine remains in art duties and his work is still solid with clear enough storytelling and a rough style that is appropriate for the plot.
Good stuff, hope the next one remains this way.
