Young Justice is finally together.
The nature behind Gemworld and Conner's role in it are finally revealed and this could put the whole team in peril.
Well, this was expected but it got the job done at the very least.
Brian Bendis offers a new installment where explores more about Gemworld. The worldbuilding is fine enough since it depicts the classic conflicts between the different guilds and key members that exist in that place, mind you, I don't think it works as good as Christy Marx' take on that universe during her New 52 Sword & Sorcery miniseries but again, is serviceable for the story (although I'm disappointed about the disappearance of Marx' version).
The story progresses at a fast pace and finally brings all the Young Justice staples together and there's the typical celebration with a hug which is predictable but still works better than the vain attempt of nostalgia the first issue tried to create.
John Timms handles the art and is really good looking, the kind of energy he brings is perfect for a teenage superhero book and there are many beautiful scenes here.
Decent read, hope the next one offers more.
