Some thoughts about Adventures of the Super Sons #9

Can the Super Sons survive the wild West of another world?

Robin and Superboy have arrived to yet another universe where Jonnah Hex lives and now they will have to survive the attack of a traitor.

This one worked a bit better than the last one thankfully.

Peter Tomasi offers a new installment where brings the Super Sons to a reality where Jonnah Hex is a cyborg which is a pretty fun premise in and of itself. Once again, the characterization is the shining point here thanks to the fun interactions between the cast and Tomasi makes a pretty solid implementation of Hex to contrast with the protagonists, particularly because of his unique condition and what he has lived.

The story progresses at a nice pace since the traitor among them finally reveals himself which was pretty predictable but at least makes the plot move forward and hopefully the next world will be just as interesting.

Scott Godlweski handles the art and while it looks solid from a character standpoint for the most part, at times it seems a little rushed.

Decent read, hope things become even better next time.
