How can Aquaman defeat a God?
Different deities have come to help Arthur face one of his strongest adversaries yet and the result could bring him closer to realize who he really is.
I'm enduring this for you people, I just want you to know.
Kelly Sue DeConnick finally concludes this overly-long story and let's just say that it follows the same trend it had since the beginning. The battle against Namma is as underwhelming as you can imagine since, as mentioned before, she's not really interesting as an antagonist but if there's something worse than her is the characters who were introduced just here, barely had a personality and we apparently have to feel bad for their sacrifice to defeat the villain. Yeah, that's not gonna happen.
This leads to a new status quo to Arthur apparently but considering how boring everything has been so far, I don't have much hope about this being any better. It has potential on paper but we all know how execution rules all and I just don't trust this run anymore.
If there's something to appreciate is, as usual, Robson Rocha's art which is really vibrant and makes the fight more engaging than it actually is.
Other than that, perfectly skippable and I hope there's a change soon.
