Carter has summoned his different incanations to face the current threat but even them might not be enough.
Decompressed still but there's fun to be had here.
Robert Venditti offers a new installment of this big battle and there are good moments indeed. The simple fact of having the multiple incarnations of Hawkman from different times and planets is entertaining on its own and allows for a lot of exciting moments. Carter himself also shines in a few segments.
I don't think this necessarily compensates for how much this battle is dragging though. At this point I would have expected this whole fight to be over and it seems like we have at least one more issue of it. Wish we would be done with it already.
Bryan Hitch remains in art duties and his work is really fitting for the widescreen action and the many Hawkmen who star here.
Is dumb fun overall, but this better conclude in the next one.
