Love is in the air.
A town is getting overwhelmed by passion and that causes its own sort of problems. Now is up to Wonder Woman to find out what's happening.
First of all, what's up with that cover? Steve doesn't appear at all in this issue.
Second, this is surprisingly a better effort than previous issues.
G. Willow Wilson continues the story about Wonder Woman trying to find her own people. The issue takes place immediately after the last one with Maggie gaining the power of a Themyscirian sword which could lead them to the Amazons. I must say that I wasn't expecting Maggie of all people to gain some significance in this book and while I mentioned last time that this seemed unearned, at least is better than being simply the girlfriend of a goat man.
The issue is devoted to how passion is making people crazy and this is appropriate due that love and even lust are classic WW themes and Wilson does a decent job at conveying those elements into the plot and makes it almost a sort of slice of life section. Not to mention that the reason behind is also adequate for the title.
Xermanico's artwork is also a nice step up compared to previous artists due that his style is pretty polished, beautiful and allows for interesting storytelling.
Finally a good issue, not sure if things will stay this way though.
