Some thoughts about Transformers #53

Galvatron's power is limitless now.

Optimus is still trying to save the Earth from the deranged Galvatron but things will get more complicated once that he uses the full power of the Enigma of Combination.

All Hail Optimus continues but for some reason I didn't enjoy this issue so much.

John Barber brings a new chapter where he focuses on progressing the story and creating some character work between the members of the cast. The characterization is the best part I would say based on the portrayal of Arcee and other characters due to the conversations and little moments they get.

The story is not so good though, is mostly a big brawl with very little to appreciate although I have to give credit to Barber to include some of the new combiners in a way that makes sense but at the same time, it seems like they were forced into the story.

Priscilla Tramontano is in charge of the art and while her work is better overall than in her last offering, is still not great. The cartoony style is appealing but at times it feels a bit simplistic.

Not so good really, hope the next one is better.
