Some thoughts about Titans Hunt #8

The final battle between the Titans and Mister Twister is here.

After being manipulated for so long, Nightwing and his friends are ready to defeat the person culprit of it but even if they manage to win, it doesn't mean that all of their memories will return.

This miniseries is finally over and despite that it wasn't the greatest, I think it served its purpose.

Dan Abnett brings the final chapter by making the Titans fight against Mister Twister at last and credit where credit is due, the battle is well-executed. There are some interesting moments of self-discovery about how the characters have progressed since their early days while touching some interesting plot-points that were ignored in the past like what happened to the last Dove? Which makes for a much more satisfying read.

The best part of it comes at the end though when the group decides to start working together with the reveal that they might be someone who they're forgetting and the hint about a fan-favorite character returning (although it might as well be Thunder and Lightning which would blow).

Paul Pelletier is in charge of the artwork and his style is pretty solid and expressive.

A solid conclusion to a mostly dull book. Hope things get better from now on.
