Some thoughts about Catwoman #52

Catwoman's past will come back to haunt her once again.

The False Face Society has one of the most valued masks in the world and Selina is decided to steal it. However, the appearance of an old friend might frustrate such plans.

This series and run have come to a conclusion and is disappointing to see them go.

Frank Tieri brings the final chapter of this volume by exploring a bit of Selina's past and her connection to one of the members of the False Face Society. The characterization continues to be pretty good with Tieri demonstrating a good skill at writing the protagonist while the sharp dialogue makes each of the different segments even better.

The inclusion of Black Mask is appreciated considering his history with Selina and her relationship with a former friend is nicely depicted while still showing a classic Catwoman moment where she demonstrates her skills.

Inaki Miranda, Pop Mhan and Giuseppe Cafaro handle the artwork here and all of them do a pretty good job in their respective scenes maintaining a consistent style over the course of the story.

Solid issue. Shame we didn't have more from this direction
