Some thoughts about Action Comics #52

The Supermans of Earth are about to meet.

The new Superman still believes he's the real and only one and he wants Lois Lane to make the world realize that and to do so, he's going to face yet another man who wears the S.

Okay, this worked better than the last one aside from a few flaws.

Peter Tomasi continues his storyarc where he focuses mostly on the new Superman and how deranged he is due that he still thinks he's the real deal. The character work is pretty solid for the most part with Lois acting pretty calmed during the whole conversation despite that she's talking to a maniac which says much more about her character than in previous storylines and I hope this means a change of direction for her.

The rest of the cast is also well-portrayed which includes the Superman family consisting of the Superman from the pre-COIE universe and his son Jon. Their dynamic is well-portrayed and the reaction about the crazy Superman is understandable aside from some awkward pieces of dialogue here and there ("You dare threaten the sanctity of my home!", I can't even imagine someone saying that, this is not The Godfather for God's sake).

Dale Eaglesham and Scot Eaton share art duties and their combined effort is pretty good looking with expressive character and intense action scenes.

Solid overall but I kinda want this to end already.
