Some thoughts about Batman #52

What helped Batman to move on?

Bruce Wayne has been training all his life after the death of his parents for one single reason but Alfred is not sure is the right one.

You know, for a last issue I think this worked decently.

James Tynion IV handles the conclusion of this volume by once again, concentrating on the early days of Bruce Wayne and showing what made him the man who he is today. This offers some typical scenes that we have seen a lot of times in the past, the hard training that Bruce endured to become Batman, they're interesting enough though and they're connected to the central theme of the story.

The way how such concept is integrated into the story is pretty natural and makes sense considering all the things the character has done over the course of his life. The dynamic between Alfred and him is also well-depicted and their respective actions are understandable.

Riley Rossmo handles the artwork and his style is pretty good looking with pretty good storytelling and a quite dark tone.

An appropriate finale overall. Now let's see what Rebirth brings.
