Some thoughts about Deathstroke #4

Is Deathstroke ready for his next challenge?

Slade and Rose are going to Gotham where they're planning to find who is chasing them but of course, they will need to face its protector first.

Well, another issue and another victory.

Christopher Priest offers a new chapter where he continues to focus on some of the best aspects of his story, the characterization. Particularly in terms of the relationship between Slade and Rose which becomes more and more complex with every new installment and is great to see that Priest is using old continuity, including the one before the New 52, to create this story. I just hope this doesn't mean he's getting rid of the actual good moments from the New 52 like Kyle Higgins' run.

Plus, he gives the character good challenges in the obvious form of Batman while also experimenting with the writing style while still maintaining a strong plot. Really good execution overall.

Joe Bennett remains in art duties and his work is still excellent with solid storytelling skill and beautiful characters.

Really enjoyable, pretty much what I want.
