Some thoughts about Robin #3

Who is Robin's biggest enemy?

Damian is learning to relax around assassins but this will last very little since the League is forcing both Connor Hawke and him to have their fated battle.

Well, there's quite a bit to appreciate here.

Joshua Williamson offers a new chapter where he creates a few developments. The fun starts right away with Damian trying to socialize around the other fighters and the fanservice is quickly dropped with the multiple references to famous assassins of the DCU and, speaking as the obssessive Green Arrow fan that I am, I was very happy to see Constantine Drakon having a scene, my only complaint is that maybe he was more jovial and inebriated than I would prefer but hey, is a fine enough portrayal.

Speaking of Green Arrow related stuff, of course Connor Hawke also gets a role here and he's portrayed pretty appropriately although I would say that the conversation about who is the worse dad, Green Arrow or Batman, is a bit in your face and not that compelling (and seriously, Ollie is a much worse father). However, the following fight and events are pretty exciting.

Gleb Melnikov continues to rule in art duties with a beautiful semi-cartoony style that gets every character perfectly and depicts the script as precise as possible.

Good read, can't get enough of this book.
