Some thoughts about Batman/Catwoman #5

People are hunting Catwoman both in the past and the future.

The Phantasm has decided to work alongside Selina to find the Joker and this will cause ramifications in her fate due that her former friends are coming for her.

This series continues to get intriguing but not without its own issues.

Tom King offers a new installment where he plays with the parallels between different timelines. The internal dilemma that Selina faces after confronting Bruce is palpable which leads her to start making mistakes and hanging with some of the worst influences she can find.

This of course contrasts with what apparently happens to "Old Lady Selina" who is now used to fight people like Harley. Mind you, I have mixed thoughts about this. On one hand, this allows for an interesting dynamic between the two, creating a compelling case about the similarities and differences between their personalities but this comes at the expense of making Harley regress a little about her obsession with the Joker which always rubs me the wrong way.

Clay Mann's artwork is still amazing with beautiful and expressive characters along with precise storytelling.

Solid overall, hope to see more revelations next.
