Some thoughts about Suicide Squad #3

Who is the Suicide Squad is going after now?

Peacemaker thinks he can save this team from Amanda Waller but there are even bigger problems due that their next enemy could be their last.

Guess what? Not getting any better!

Robbie Thompson continues his story about this new incarnation of the Squad and is still average at best and downright bad at worst. First of all, the characterization for Conner is all wrong, the whole issue the characters keep calling him "boy scout" which to anyone who even knows a little of Conner/Kon-El realizes that completely off since he has always been a cocky superhero who mostly played by his own rules and at times didn't even want anything to do with the Superman family. Second, the fact that Peacemaker believes that he can trick Waller by doing laundry because she supposedly can't hear them while doing it is so stupid that I can't believe someone came up with that. Third, Culebra was started to grow on me until every single line of her became a joke and thus she got really annoying really quickly (again, Thompson took the wrong lessons from Adam Glass with Roundhouse).

Even worse is the plot though since it's apparently connected to that other waste of paper known as Teen Titans Academy and it's even more ridiculous since this damn issue ended with a cliffhanger involving that fanficky reinvention of Red X which made me groan so loudly that everyone in my neighborhood heard me.

No complaints about Eduardo Pansica, his characters are expressive and storytelling is clear.

Aside from that, please avoid this.
