Some thoughts about Nightwing #80

Can Nightwing figure out who is murdering people around the city?

Someone has been taking the hearts of the homeless and Dick is even considered suspect. Now alongside Tim Drake and Barbara, they all will have to find the actual culprit before is too late.

Working a little better but mostly because half of the creative team really gives it all.

That's not to say that Tom Taylor does a bad job. Actually, there are quite a few things that I like as the entertaining dialogue and dynamics between the characters, he really knows how to create an engaging interaction between Dick and Barbara, not to mention that things get even funnier once that Tim enters the plot.

Speaking of which, the plot progresses at a pretty fast pace but fortunately doesn't feel as light in content as previous chapters or other works by Taylor. In fact, there are not many of the "Taylor tics" that I've grown tired over the years here which makes this issue much more acceptable.

However, the biggest star here is no doubt Bruno Redondo who is quickly becoming one of the best aritsts in the industry. His storytelling is starting to remind me of Marcos Martin's work in Daredevil, really creative use of the panels and movement that describe every action and scene perfectly along with a lot of detail. Is simply great stuff and is what sells this book for me.

Good read overall, let's see how things go on.
