Some thoughts about Robin #2

Is this the end for Robin?

Damian has just been killed but that's hardly a problem in Lazarus Island. Now, he along Ravager will have to find out a way to win this tournament.

This series is getting more and more interesting.

Joshua Williamson offers a new installment where he explores this particular setting. The idea behind Lazarus Island is pretty compelling, particularly surrounding the tournament arc premise and allows for pretty fun scenarios, especially when Damian realizes that he doesn't have to "hold back".

The characterization works nicely as well. I really enjoy the dynamic between Damian and Rose, the rivalry between Damian and Flatline, and, while I had some complaints about how Williamson introduced Connor Hawke, it seems like he's building-up the character as an important player in this tournament. About the plot, there's a bigger secret going around in the island and hopefully will pay off at the end.

Gleb Melnikov remains in art duties and his semi-cartoony style is wonderful to depict expressions and intense action scenes.

Good read, need more already.
