Can Batman and Superman save the Infected?
The Batman who Laughs' army has been defeated but their disease remains and there are even bigger threats ahead.
A short chapter but gets the job done.
Joshua Williamson offers a new installment that works as an epilogue for the first one and I'm glad this is over. Williamson did his best with the material he was given but at this point everything surrounding the Batman who Laughs has become toxic and I think that even Williamson realizes that because of how none of the protagonists bother to listen the infected Gordon's speech which seems like a little jab at the whole editorially mandated event.
The little character moments are well-handled with the inclusion of Wonder Woman among other superheroes reacting to the actions of Bruce and Clark who are still appropriately portrayed. The cliffhanger at the end also seems interesting.
David Marquez handles the art and is still beautiful thanks to his clean style and strong storytelling.
Good issue, hope the next arc is better.
