The Metal Men are getting some recognition.
Gold is back although the plans of the Nth Metal Man are still a mystery and even in their free time, the team is not safe.
There are a few things to enjoy here but sometimes I kinda get bored of it.
For example, I like the ideas that Dan Didio is trying to develop here including the desire of the Metal Men to become real, particularly after the things we learned about them in the first issue, along with the inclusion of a few characters that are connected to their themes. However, the execution can be dull and it doesn't make me really invested in the story and concepts.
That being said, there's definitely a desire to explore the world of these characters that at least I can appreciate and while the writing is not the most engaging, the inclusion of some characters is welcome, even one that Didio is familiar with from the New 52 days.
Shane Davis handles the art and again, his work is not the best neither in terms of beauty or storytelling but it gets the job done.
Decent enough but I wish things were better.
