Some thoughts about Dial H for Hero #11

Will the Supermiguels destroy their own friend?

Miguel has decided to work alongside Mister Thunderbolt and that has forced him to face Summer but there must be another way.

This series is about to conclude and it's still entertaining as hell.

Sam Humphries offers a new installment where he plays with the idea of the Supermiguels being a pastiche of the Reign of the Supermen storyline from the 90s but that's not the only one. There are different references to other comics including most prominently Jack Kirby's work, particularly when it appropriately handles the New Gods, there are other homages obviously like manga and indie inspired sections.

Character work continues to be solid with Summer's background being further explored, including the relationship with her dad. The plot progresses at a fast pace and prepares us for the climactic resolution with the whole Multiverse.

Joe Quinonez remains in art duties and his work remains impressive with his flexible style that evokes several different styles while looking great all the time.

Good read, hope the finale is satisfying.
